Which tool should translate my store?
On Shopify, Translate & Adapt is a good start, and an app such as Weglot or Langify helps when you need more control. On WooCommerce I use WPML, which handles products, collections, menus and SEO fields together.
How many languages can one store run?
Many. The Organic Labs runs its content in 20 languages from one Shopify store, and a US store chain runs 21 languages on WooCommerce with WPML.
Are machine translations good enough?
They are a fast first draft. Product terms, sizing and checkout wording still need checking before they go live.
