Problem
The old site looked patchy. Wholesale had no proper pages, so visitors tried to buy drums at checkout. The brand wanted to win B2B leads across Europe and compete in Google for its core flavours, and kept adding new powders.
Solution
I designed a system of colour tokens, type, cards and drawers, then built every new section on it as Online Store 2.0 sections with full settings. Wholesale runs on one reusable product template that reads its content from metafields and metaobjects, with price on request and a quote form instead of a buy button. Store data is loaded by repeatable scripts through the Admin API.
Key decisions
Chose one wholesale template driven by metafields and metaobjects
Why There are dozens of wholesale pages. A new flavour is added as data, the client edits text in the admin and translations follow.
Chose to push only changed files to the live theme
Why Publishing a whole theme would have wiped translations that are tied to the live theme.
Chose to leave Product structured data off wholesale pages
Why Prices are on request, and Google rejects Product markup that has no price.
Chose dark ink buttons, with product colour used only for accents
Why White text on some product colours fails contrast checks.
Results
- Full redesign shipped in phases: header, footer, wholesale, About, Contact, home, recipes, retail product pages and cart.

- More than 150 SEO articles with generated cover images, and Recipe markup on the recipes.
- Store content in 20 languages, with market-specific wording and prices.
- Old pages cleaned up with redirects, and all sitemap URLs checked.
