Problem
The brand had a static HTML layout and nothing else. No Shopify connection, no admin, no way to change a banner or launch a new line without a developer. It needed a real store that kept the premium feel.
Solution
I split the layout into independent Liquid sections and dynamic templates. Every text, banner, product pick and collection became a setting in the theme customizer. Brand-style animations were added, and the whole thing was tuned for mobile first.
Key decisions
Chose independent sections over whole-page ports
Why The team builds pages and launches new lines on its own, with no developer in the loop.
Chose light, brand-style animations
Why They keep the luxury feel without slowing the store down on phones.
Chose an Online Store 2.0 theme with customizer settings
Why Hard-coded content would have meant a developer for every banner change.
Results
- Store live in 3 weeks, from static layout to selling.
- The brand sold online for the first time.
- Home, collection and product pages all run on editable sections.
- Structure ready for new product lines without rework.
