Problem
The brand depended on Amazon in the UAE. It had no storytelling, no upsells and no customer data of its own, and launching local campaigns was hard.
Solution
I built product pages with visual storytelling and cross-sells, listing pages with practical filters and modular home sections for seasonal promotions. Images are lazy-loaded and optimised, the Liquid is clean, and the store is mobile-first and ready for more languages.
Key decisions
Chose to extend a standard theme, not write one from scratch
Why It let the store launch in about a month and a half with a stable base.
Chose modular promo templates
Why The marketing team launches campaigns such as a seasonal sale without a developer.
Chose to stay on after launch with a retainer
Why A live store keeps needing improvements and quick technical help.
Results
- First local store for the brand in the UAE, so less reliance on Amazon.
- The brand now owns its customer data for loyalty and remarketing.
- Promo banners and product storytelling run from editable sections.
- A mobile-first, faster store and a base for more languages.
